Armagh training twice a day, 5 days a week. 8 Cross lads in the panel at the start of December. 5 walked off within two weeks. One of them tells Joe, “I have a fucking liife”.

twice a day 5 days a week - FFS. You would want to be winning 2 all Irelands in the one season to justify that.
I think Joe might be exaggerating slightly though. I read somewhere else that they had three early morning sesions and four evening sessions during the week on top of the weekend schedule.
I don’t think that’s correct, I believe that there are morning and evening sessions available to choose from with regards the gym at least. The Cross boys who dropped out with the exception of Carragher are squad players at best and would rather be playing for their club.
