Is Gavin McParland currently on the Armagh panel?[/QUOTE]

Haven’t heard anything about him dropping off and he was involved in the league final. Wasn’t named in the 26 today, neither was Peter Carragher.

Depressing performance from Armagh, naive and dumb football which McGeeney has to take the blame for.

Drew Wylie has torn his cruciate, big blow for Monaghan.

You mean the result in 2008 wasn’t as relevant as @GeoffreyBoycott was making out?

@GeoffreyBoycott would struggle to spot Fermanagh and Monaghan on a map if he was asked to.

Monaghan 1-20
Fermanagh 0-13

It was a 3 point game with 12 minutes left but looked like Fermanagh tired badly and the red card was the final straw. Good scoring from Monaghan against a very well organised side. Looking forward to the Derry-Donegal match next weekend, would be nice if Derry could spring a surprise but Donegal are looking in ominous form!

Things are at a very low ebb in the United Kingdom end of the Ulster. Hard to see anything other than another Monaghan v Donegal final. Its the longest drought without a UK winner since the 1940’s.

There’s no doubt about it, Paddy Bradley should still be on that Derry team, poor form the way McIver has excluded him as he’s the best forward in their county’s history and it’s an area where they have big concerns.

Paddy Bradley is the only Derry footballer who has consistently produced over the past 15 years or so. He’s been blackguarded.

O’Boyle for Herron is the only change, very uninspiring options on the scoring front on that Derry bench but they definitely have the backs to contain Donegal and the likes of Murphy in McBrearty in particular. I’d say Rogers will be tasked with Murphy and given permission to follow him out the field and McBride will pick up McBrearty.

Has Kielt left the panel?

Yup, threw the toys out of the pram after not seeing any action against Down.

Some talent missing for Derry when you think about it through either injury, suspension or non-selection/committal.
