Never had you down for a cross dresser @flattythehurdler, but each to their own I suppose. I won’t judge you.

I think tipp will edge a stormer. I really really hope it’s a good game. If Jason Flynn plays well, galway will have a range of forwards to trouble anyone. Keep Seamus quiet and it will be a very tight game.
I really don’t think galway ever have any fear of tipp. The blue and yellow seems to put their dander up more than any other team.
Gutted to miss the minor match, should be an absolute cracker.

Lovely sentiment.
She’s worn that shirt ragged.
She’s had it hanging out ready for over a week.
I’m also dragging the pal who does the boat for the bay swim to his first ever hurling match, and trip to Croker.
He assures me he has galway blood.

Enjoy it pal. My first game was the drawn Munster final of 87. 5 years old. Hooked after that

Your wife will look great in that.

A similar result to the 87 will do me nicely.

I hope we beat ye in a thriller. The Cork AISF in 2012 was a complete anti climax.

Our camogie full back was imprsseive today. Hurlers should draft her in. Reckon she’d do a job on that windy cunt Callinan.

Days like today are why you follow sport.

Safe travels to all posters travelling from Tipp or Galway, and those of in exile from our home counties.

Embrace your inner roaster. I’m looking forward to eating a full carvery at midday, swamping a pint of Guinness in the city and then getting a cramp for walking too fast with too full a belly to make sure I make the minors. There’ll be a trip to supermacs post-match where I’ll meet a plethora of roasters from both counties and chat about the match, while spilling “red sauce” on my jersey. Then the train home (if time allows, a stop off at an offie).

The only thing not too predictable about today is the match itself

Serious question pal… I have a few sandwiches made here for the train, should I use cling film or tin foil?

I expect to eat them around midday so which wrapping will give me the optimum freshness?

If both of ye had any sense, ye’d have the spuds now. Get it out of the way

You’re a thoroughly alright sort pal. It’s fellow roasters like you that have dissipated my hatred for Tipp. I wish all TFKers from both counties a great day out, have a few pints and a garlic cheese chips for me. Just off to bed for a few hours of restless sleep. I’ll be awake for the minor I’d say.

Setting off for the boat in an hour. Listening to the pleasant background of my wife arguing with my daughter over what she’s wearing. The kids are all excited. I’m slightly hungover.
Hon the tribes.

Both. Cling film on inside, and tin foil outside. That’ll keep em fresh.

Lies! You’ll be atein hang sangwidges out of a tinfoil wrapping, and it’s well you know it. Just because you’ve a few Husker Du tapes at home, don’t think you can ditch your culture on a big day like this.

Having said all that mate, the very best of luck to you today. May the best team (in maroon and white) win.
