Is the sliothar being thrown a lot lately, rather than it being an actual handpass as per the rules?
If the ball was at the actual height of the post then it would have collided with it you moron.
On what special tv angle or station did you see him roaring at his players to push up the field?
No probably not. I would a collective chain reaction that started with Tadgh De Burca either being instructed or deciding himself to drop back. What happens then is guys get uncomfortable with their positioning. Spatial awareness is a funny thing. They look for comfort. A possible scenario is this;
Jamie Barron is playing all day around 20M in front of De Burca. Then De Burca drops back. He has recieved a few balls from De Burca coming out. He feels too far away for this to happen. He drops back. That has a direct effect on Gleeson in turn, he drops, almost unaware. Then Walsh sees loads of KK jerseys around the 40 and middle. He pulls in. Waterford now have lost their width (which they used superbly yesterday). It gets tight and KK find a bit more space out wide.
Players hear fuck all from the sideline most of the time. Where the managemebt errored was not sending out a clear message with a physio or runner. They were a tad too honest, and arguably a small bit too animated in the last 7 or 8 mins. But it was clear even on tv the sideline dod not want what thwy were doing. Maybe, probably, TDeB was to drop back. A no-goals policy. But that does not mean the entire team should change. This was their issue. I believ at least.
At least 3 times. Very very obvious just before the equalizer, he was going mental right at the puck out.
Ball over the top of the post is a point in both sports correct?
In an unusual event, you seem to be spoofing here.
Did you see Barron all the way up the field winning a free in injury time?
No. FFS, no wonder that club questioned your bills.
It used to be
Toddle along there sonny.
Ya. Whats your point?
He can run long distances you know.
You are chasing now.
And diverting to a complete different subject about agreed professional payment is bizarre and shows you cannot support your case in the actual discussion taking place here.
I think this discussion is beyond your experience and/or level of intelligence.
A real irish male weakness so to speak?
No a pretty universal trait of bitter foolish cunts.
Bitter Irish fools?
You vaguely accused Owens of purposely backing KK in his decision making yesterday. You at one point said you really wanted WD to hold on, your emotions were clearly clouding your judgement. Yet, you called it a male irish weakness not to question his performance.
I believe someone once questioned an invoice of yours which caused you to have a mini meltdown as opposed to sitting down & explaining it to the auld lads who asked. It seems this male Irish weakness works in both directions?
So the hurling purists were right Waterford needed to go for it and throw more men up front, but how much did they tweak the system? Itâs hard to judge watching on TV. They seemed to keep more men up front, but were still heavy in numbers around the middle. It looked like a nice mix of the defensive system with some attacking intent?
Also second question. Do lads think that Waherfurd needed to go with the defensive system in order to get to this point or could they have come straight to this juncture? I think itâs like Donegalâs evolution in the football, they needed to be completely defensive before they could build on it. Unfortunately the programming is still in them and they reverted to type when under pressure yesterday and allowed KK free men at the back for puck outs, which is absolutely criminal given how Tipp used that to destroy them.
Itâs a pity they reverted to systems of old when the pressure came on.
Throughout the game early low ball into their forwards caused KK defenders untold mayhem as witnessed by Shanahans point off Prendergast.
The defining point in the game was the cancelled Moran score.
I would suggest it was the goal chance. It was the stake, silver bullet and nuclear arms code all in one. The cancelled point was just a coda.
You are tinkering with that story to suit some bizarre argument. I was not at any meeting. A previously agreed costing for work already done (and nobody had any issue with) was requested not to be paid for no known reason. Not sure why anyone would accept that.
Its widely commented on both Owens and referees fear of KK in the past. I have long thought Owens is a weak shit ref, easily swayed by perception. Typically he tends to side one way or the other but then he throws a few eveners in. He fot an awful lot wrong yesterday and Wâford benefitted too at times. But he reffed them differently on carrying and tackling, that is very clear.
Thats enough of your idiocy now, i will be moving on.
I think the system worked to a point and allowed a lot of players find their feet. The comparison to Donegal has been made before but Jim was always evolving and tweaking he didnât ever see his system completely destroyed like waterford did in the Munster final. Would McGrath have changed it up if they hadnât been beaten so comprehensively? I doubt it.
I said it before the game 3 and 6 are now weaknesses for KK and their forwards are nowhere near what they used to be. By playing a sweeper against them you are handing them a massive advantage. If Waterford come and out and played like that against Tipp theyâd have got destroyed also imo.
From the stand view Waterford definitely pushed up a lot more but the big move was Gleeson in the half forward line. He was a man mountain up there. Won the world of ball and didnât allow KK dominate aerially which is key.
