Galway made a decent comeback against KK today. For a team thats in heavy training it gave some hope. Nice to see Matthew Keating getting a try out.
Yeah Joe, I thought we were gone after 50 minutes and it would be a damage limitation exercise. But they dug in hard and got the better of Tipp with the help of some timely substitutions. Then we switched off and left the cunts back into again and we had to go and win it a second time. Serious going to do that in fairness.
We need a bullet proof free taker though. We are losing 2-3 points a game on frees. Hopefully Mahony will be back soon.
As an aside Tipp are a huge team. But how did O’ Dwyer stay on the pitch for that pull. Semple Stadium was like a cabbage patch today as well.
