2017 All Ireland final Galway v Waterford - Pretend Galway Fans spouting shit

Lads, has anyone a link to Derek McGrath’s speech?

Keeps buffering on the phone midway through, but thanks Fagan. I’ll pick it up on the weefee later. He’s an impressive man is Derek, any parent would be delighted to have him teaching or coaching their child. I know Cheddar couldn’t speak highly enough of the man from a long way back.

When Leitrim eventually win an All Ireland you’ll be allowed a full month of tweeness

Bad idea. They’ve a very good Scor team this year.

Laois have the Rounders sewn up anyway, so they can go fuck with that one.

Anyone here present in Galway yesterday evening? Yesterdays news RTE says 25-30K out to greet the team home. Is that an accurate number do you think? I would have expected 2 to 3 times that to be honest. Anyone here present yesterday to give a rough estimate?

I’m no good at judging the size of crowds Ted, but I’d say there’s about seventeen million of them out there.

I won’t see Leitrim win an All Ireland mate

Not with that attitude anyway you won’t

They had huge crowds in Ballinasloe and Portumna too - weren’t all concentrated in Salthill.

I’d figured as much. There’s hardly any footage about. I’d love to see some more of it.

Western Gaels (aka Leitrim/Roscommon/Sligo) will give the 2030 championship a right rattle.

Rte news said 45k between Ballinasloe and Salthill came out. Pearse stadium is horrible to get to so that’s a fantastic turnout imo

It’s a matter of some pride to have such a thoughtful and articulate manager at the helm.

At least you will never have to endure seeing your county win a hurling final.
