The final build up will probably be dominated by Joe v Austin (if he’s not suspended) but Conor Whelan and Jamie Barron have been the two best hurlers in the country this year in my opinion.

20 yards is a long way to expect a lad to see if a hand is accidentally caught (cc @bandage) or not.

I’m hoping he does say he saw it and thought nothing of it, it’d be the true GAA way of dealing with matters. If a Dublin Footballer can get away with hitting a lad a spock right in front of the referee in an All Ireland semi final, then anyone can get away with anything.
