2017 All Ireland Senior Football Championship, Dublin's continued exploitation of its natural advantages

Lads who havenā€™t gone to a game all year giving it big licks - even tho 90% of Dublin games on their door step - :grinning: They then spend 10 hours trying to win the internet battle such is their passion for the team they refuse to go watch.

Tired Iā€™d say ā€” they looked fucked with 15 to go but dug inā€¦

Think they ran out of steam. Dublin pulled two players to Cluxton left side and COS ran down right sideline for a lot of them.

How did they press kick outs so well in first half. It was more or less perfect.

Rock movement off the ball and general positional awareness is very good. Didnā€™t have the best of games but he makes a lot of space for other players even by walking his man out a little

Did they stop doing it directly after half time? If so it must have been a ploy to conserve energyā€¦ the bench truly was the difference, Mayo were out on their feet by the end and were running on the fumes of desperation. McManamon and particularly Connolly had big impacts when they came in and Brogan, though past his best, brought an extra air of uncertainty in the dying minutes. Mayo had nowhere near the same options on the line. No shame in Mayo losing to a juggernaut like this Dublin team but God it must be heartbreaking for them.

Well sure thatā€™s that then. Iā€™d say thereā€™s no point in playing next yearā€™s championship weā€™ll just ask this fella what he reckons?

What the fuck are you on about ? Glas was trying to call all Dublin fans wankers - I was just balancing the books ā€” No need for the massive over -reaction, mate ā€¦ You should be getting ready to head into town with your kids to see the boys with Sam.

Whereas thereā€™s nothing wrong with a Muldoon who spends all his time telling us how much he hates ā€œfistballā€,spending 10 hours arguing with the same lads about the sport.

Itā€™s called TFK.

Iā€™m not arguing with anyone, mate ā€” And Iā€™ve never said I hate it, just that itā€™s an inferior game to others but I still enjoy the odd good game it throws up ā€” the audit trail is there to back me up.

@Juhniallio has been typing for 10 mins ā€” heā€™s hopping madā€¦

Apologies to anybody in the Hogan Stand Upper who was forced to listen to a young lady from Wexford having a complete meltdown any time Dublin scored or tackled. The hatred and vitriol was beyond the pale.

Thereā€™s no point. Theyā€™d have no interest. The little lady wanted Mayo to win and the little lad just wants to be Spiderman. And sure Sam will call out to the little ladyā€™s school in a week or two as usual.

Why were you dressed up as a lady?

Was it 8 or 9 steps Con took in the lead up to the goal ?

Did you get rid of the Monaghan one?

Dont think it was that bad. Not enough that you would call it back anyway. There was far worse over carrying at other stages that werent called.

Youā€™re allowed an extra four steps if your going for goal

Kinda like Johnny Coens throw to Canning for the winner in the AISH Semi Final, Barry Kelly won Galway that game. Is that the point you are making here?

More but he bounced and toed to hard in the run . A fair goal . Mayo caught cold .

He should have sent two Tipp players off - But I donā€™t hear you whinging about that ā€“
