Tbf Kenrick did stop playing for the disallowed goal and given his fine save later in the game it isnât an absolute foregone conclusion that it would have been a goal if he tried to stop it
Of course he would, and rightly so, just as the Tipperary supporters are rightly aggrieved particularly at the decision where Austin was pulled back when bearing down on goal.
The referee can be bad for both teams, you know.
Armagh were fully deserved winners and nobody can argue with that, really.
It was the inconsistency of him that was the worst. Blows up early and plays no advantage, then doesnât blow when the advantage doesnât accrue other times.
I donât agree with the view point of balancing things out as one decision from the first half does not equate another decision at the end or in injury time. You have more time to recover from an earlier bad decision, ones made at the end impact far greater.
In saying that, Tipp were still shite. Didnât do enough after the goal to deserve the win.
I donât know the incident, but conditioning does not necessarily mean late in the game.
A hugely misunderstood as pect of sports fitness.
Its Why Andy mcEntee trained teams struggle for instance. Same with Tom Cribben trained teams. And lots and lits of other teams.
Conditioning is about consistant output through out a game
Conditioning was not Neilanâs problem, as I said.
He was well able for the pace of the Dublin-Kerry league final and that was a much faster game than todayâs. In fact he performed pretty well that day bar the ridiculous black card for Dermo.
Disgusting, thuggish start to this game.
Youâre all talk, you wouldnât break eggs you fool.
State of that fat cunt in goal for Carlow
Look it kid. If Galway could focus on their hurling and not on their hatred and fear of the Blue & Gold jersey ye might win something of note.
Someone might listen to you then.
Lovely strike from Hughes.
Great to see some Fingal representation at this late stage of the championship
St Ledger is a quare name for a Muldoon, is he a mate of yours @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy?
Tom Cribben has done a reasonably good job with Westmeath. Heâs not a top-rank inter-county manager but two Leinster finals in a row and a first ever championship win over Meath represent a relatively good return. And Westmeath beat Kildare comfortably in last yearâs Leinster semi-final - thatâs the Cian OâNeill-managed Kildare team.
Andy McEntee won an All-Ireland with one of the weaker Dublin champions of the last decade.
Heâs been in charge of Meath for less than a year so if youâre claiming that Meath have poor strength and conditioning because of him, youâd also have to criticise Cian OâNeill for Kildare having poor strength and conditioning last year.
Poor shooting so far.
Thereâll be a row in this yet. Reilly is a terribly poor referee.
In the same way Cork supporters used to bring the flags of Canada, Denmark, Japan, the USA and the racist âstars ânâ barsâ flag to matches, Carlow supporters have a tremendous choice of African flags with which to show support for their team.
What did i say about Meath?
I said Andy McEntee teams. 3 i have seen now. Sometimes it has worked because they can finish very strong, plus he had some very good players in certain places. Ballyboden had a serious team ffs
Cian oâNeill was pulling kildare out of an abyss of shitness for a few years. It wasnât comditioning was their issue. Comfidence and style was the issue. And that takes time.
Problem with Cribben and McEntee approach is you can get hammered early and the gap is often too far. That hurts comfidence.
Players, attitude and generally ability outstripes conditioning. However in 50-50 games or between similar standard teams it matters alot.
Like a poorly conditioned Kerry team will still easily beat someone like Carlow or Down or whoever.
I know the approach of all managers mentioned, and i k ow exactly what they do and CONâs training is significantly superior and balanced. Thats not to say Cribben et al have not got other qualities.
You donât understand what you are talking about so you should drop it.
Hammer blow of a shoulder from Drew Wylie.
I would say that was the worst half of football I have ever seen.
''Tis only younger and younger that tramp Dessie Mone is looking
This Stephen Hunt ad on GAAGO is the biggest load of twee bullshit Iâve seen in my life.
