He’s the perfect midfielder with a false 9

I’m seriously impressed with him here

He was excellent for Ajax too.

Rashford’s pace was causing the two Dutch boys much more trouble than Kane

Lovely stuff. These English lads need to go back to hoofing it

Those drilled straight corners Chilwell is taking are absolutely horrendous

I remember being a kid watching USA 94 in France and Wim Yonk hit a speculative effort that resulted in a Packie Bonner clanger. There were orange hoardes of them belting out that same song “Always look on the bright side of life” after Overmars doubled the lead. I swear they only save it for 2 goal or more leads. When Paul McGraths goal was disallowed it got worse. I reckon we could be seeing the start of something here.

I’d say the Portuguese cops are fucking thrilled. They’ve been warming up since the second goal went in

Harry Kane is a kiss of death at both club and international level.

You’d have to say that the introduction of Harry Kane turned that match on its head.

Bottler Kane does it again.

Swatted about like an empty crisp wrapper by a teenager.

@GeoffreyBoycott

De Ligt was all over the shop until static Harry came on.

England are lucky with the amount of immigration they’ve had, their crackers are shit

A midfield of Delph, Rice and Barkley.

What’s with all the hype about rice?

Grealish was a far bigger loss than Rice as I said at the time

Chairman Dan messed up not selling that spoofer last year after the World Cup.
