Maybe thats Kildares true game, they just want a bit of leverage to move this game to Croke Park also.
I know this is hard to believe, but there genuinely was such a thing as the âMayo Firmâ.
They were a bunch of teenagers who tried to organise on Bebo in 2007.
They had at least one gathering at the NFL game against Dublin in April 2007. I think they were all grounded by their parents afterwards.
I said cracking game â not scutter.
They are playing the long con and looking for a wad of cash from the GAA. disgraceful behavior.
They couldnât give a fuck about the hurlers
Thatâs it, these Kildare cunts can get back in their box, Croke Park or nothing.
Kildare supporters have announced a hunger strike, saying they will only consume flour and water until the game is moved to Newbridge.
why do you deny the holocaust?
âOur revenge will be the messianic rantings of a Brazilian-based journalist on Twitter.â
I think it is wrong that Kildare are not having this in Conleths, even if it is a complete dump. But the one thing people are going on about with health and safety and how they can easily cope with 8,000 or whatever, that really isnt the issue. The main issue is with access to and from the ground, specifically the gated entrances. They have fuck all there and it cant cope with the demands of that many people. They dont have enough gate access to all parts of the ground. It has been an issue in other provincial grounds over the years too and some have rectified it and some havent. Conleths in its location doesnt lend itself to having more gates or having easy accessible entrances. The terraces and stands and jacks and all that is another issue, but the majority of crowd incidents or whatever at games happens when people are trying to get in. Especially if it is close to throw in and they are all milling around one or 2 entrances for dispersion to the whole ground.
I hope it gets resolved and is on in Conleths. I do also think this is a financial thing as well. But Conleths at capacity is not a safe set up as it currently stands.
It would be highly ironic if this game went ahead in Conleths and then there was a massive Hillsborough type incident, with hundreds dead from overcrowding.
And the GAA are liable if thereâs an incident?
best case scenario is that the game is held in Kildare and there is a crush
thatâs how they fix it.
write up a contract removing themselves from all liability if the game is held in Newbridge.
Kildare wouldnât be long about shutting their holes then
who knows pal. does each individual board have its own liability on its own property or does the property belong to the gaa hierarchy?
They canât.
St. Conelthâs park is vested in trust to the GAA, so they canât waive responsibilty.
Incorrect.
That game is actually scheduled for Armagh, not Belfast.
How does that work in Clare with Cusack park â dont the church own the land or something?
that makes sense.
you can fully understand the GAAâs stance so. A potential nightmare staging it in Conlethâs.
there is absolutely no way this game can go ahead in Newbridge.
