odd how few fields are as big as Croke parkā¦
I was asking a question. Itās odd that you fail to grasp this.
Everyone isnāt out to get you.
Mayo donāt play too well at McHale either. They lost all their home league games and their Connacht Championship game against Galway this year.
Have you a point? Yes or no.
That was always going to happen, this fight was taken in the knowledge that this would be the case
No. I had a question.
An inane one as weāve already clarified.
Didnt you hear? It doesnt matter about how many fans are there, it just matters that they get to play in their home ground.
Do Kildare have any chance?
Of course they do. Mayo are said by the experts to be waiting for someone to knock them out. Kildare have as a good a chance as any.
is there any basis to back this rather than " on any given sunday"
Kildare have struggled all yearā¦
Mayo struggled badly against Tipperary for 52 minutes. They got a flukey goal which completely changed the game and Tipperary couldnāt last the pace.
Newbridge is a much tighter pitch than Thurles, therefore Mayoās running game will be harder to implement, Kildare are unlikely to collapse in terms of fitness in the last quarter-like Tipperary did.
Mayo have a history of struggling in qualifiers and are down their first choice midfield pairing. Kildare have Kevin Feely who can dominate games at his best.
Kildare have two good wins under their belts and have to have a decent chance.
good wins against Derry and Longford not exactly giant killingā¦Tipp would be better than both teams.
I could well be wrong but i cant see anything other than a Mayo win.
Youāre as entitled to your opinion as you are to use the āRoyalā āweā.
Have a wonderful day.
ooooft
Theyāve been in two qualifier series in the last few years and have come through both unbeaten.
Kildare in contrast have been knocked out in the qualifiers in 5 of the last 6 years, the exception being 2015, when they beat the mighty Offaly and Longford to make it through the qualifiers before Kerry beat them to death in the QF.
Yet you are focusing on Mayo struggling in the qualifiers
OOOOoooooooffftttttt. TFKās foremost provo in Royal āWeā shocker!!!
If they were playing a better team Iād be worried for Mayo with their injuries etc. but this is a piss poor Kildare side. They lost to Carlow FFS. They beat Derry (division 4 next year) and Longford a passable division 3 side, but this is a huge step up for them. Mayo were ambling through the league and beat them by 7 points.
Mayo will win this by a couple of points.Kildare HT Mayo FT is the bet here.
Iād say thatās a reasonable shout
