Sorry mate, I canāt relate to your level of dumbness.
Is comer overrated or just very poorly utilised?
Neither
Interesting. Wouldnt have seen him as much as you obviously but hasnāt had consistent 70 min impact that id have hoped for based on all the chatter early in year.
I think teams are copping onto him a bit. Heās very direct and was good at winning frees but teams are standing up a bit more and shepherding him away rather than dive in.
Meyler out is a big blow. He would have been the go to man for OāConnell.
Itās a very hard game to call. Iād be very worried about frees, we still donāt have a reliable free taker and Monaghan can kick them over from 60 yards with a good success rate. If the referee is fussy weāre going to be in trouble.
I fancy Tyrone but it will be a very tight game. Tyrone have had to come through a number of tough matches this year which have been on top of each other. Weāve picked up two season ending injuries in the Super 8s so itās been a draining experience.
Not overrated. Just not getting enough ball.
You brought this on yourselves bringing that Tyrone tramp into the set up.
Id agree with that. Underutilised
True. But not poorly utilized, heās in the right position
Who was the other injury?
McCarron.
Few Dublin people are getting frayed around the edges about todayās game. Itās felt that it will be a straightforward Ulster carpetting in the final.
But the game plan doesnt get best out of him. Nor do they get ball into his hands half enough IMO.
Its the hardest thing for any coach is getting the most out of their best players. Its easier to coach and improve the rest.
Yeah but put him out the field and it can pass him by. If he gets it at 14 he can work a score or a foul from tight space under pressure, many canāt. Look how many times he was fouled in the league final, could have resulted in a few cards another day. He has a tendency to try and do everything. Put him at centre forward and hed run himself into the ground too early, imo. Theres a flaw in the game plan true enough, especially when trailing, but i donāt think moving him and weakening his impact is the right thing to do. Ultimately the Midfield and half forward line needs to do better. Not sure they can.
If that is the Galway team then they will be beaten without landing a punch. Their only hope is to go at Dublin, make it a high scoring shootout and try get at the Dublin fullback line. That team named is not capable of any of that.
I canāt ever recall as little excitement around 2 semi finals. Galway are the only side left who could potentially shock the Dubs, but they are also the side most likely to get a big beating from them. If Galway beat Dublin tomorrowās game is massive, if Dublin beat Galway tomorrowās game is for 2nd place.
Decent read.
Unreal article.
