poacher calling Carlow people Carlovians in his tweet. Not keen on that, they are known as the scallion aters
Sugrue was in Kerry senior backroom teams for a while, managed south Kerry to a senior championship title. pretty solid unassuming guy too
Glad we finally got him. We need to send more women to Kerry.
Very nice guy. Came across him years ago when he was based in cork.
Learned the trade well too
Ah ya an unbelievable talent. Unmarkable at sigerson
Mixed the unbelievable with the ridiculous for years though. Was very selfish and show boaty for a long time. Could be very frustrating
However Ronan Mac was always the man for him. He had improved in fairness thru nemos campaign where he was outstanding
Qualifer draw predictions:
Cavan v Tyrone
Offaly v London
Wicklow v Kildare
Waterford v Antrim
Armagh v Mayo
Wexford v Limerick
Westmeath v Derry
Louth v Meath
Derry v Kildare and Meath v Tyrone are the first two ties drawn.
Louth play London.
Wicklow v Cavan
Offaly v Antrim
Mayo v Limerick - Limerick will be at home.
Westmeath v Armagh
Wexford v Waterford
5 Leinster V Ulster clashes.
Tyrone should brush Meath aside.
Easy start for Mayo.
Derry v Kildare is a pickem. I fancy Derry based on home advantage.
Jesus, Frehill was an absolute shambles there
Heard the replay of the commentary from the local Carlow radio station on the drive into work this morning, hilarious. Fair play to them, Horse Lawlor is my new favourite bogballer.
He explained about three times should a division three or four side face a team in division one or two they’d get home advantage.
“Louth v London - I’d imagine that will go ahead in Drogheda.”
A minute later - “ah, that will actually be on in Ruislip.”
The lack of professionalism and even slight preparation is just astounding.
Meath players will be delighted with thag. The Andy McEntee reign will end and they can get on with the club game.
His interview last night was hilarious. Clearly blaming players for missing chances. Absolute wanker
A clusterfuck
Whats the story with thr goalkeeper O’Rourke for Meath? Is he injured or given up?
The ashbourne goalkeeper that played yesterday was carrying a bit of timber.
Gave up. Serious notions about himself and had a few comedy errors last year.
He did a grand interview explaining himself.
A bit of a plonker I’d say.

Ah right, I’m not surprised he did come across as a bit up himself. Meath is some basket case. Maybe in a few years they will benefit from the population explosion but they need to start getting the structures in place now to really benefit.
