The ball never deviates in flight if indeed it did get glanced on. His hand would have hit the ball regardless of any flick on. It’s not like it was a wicked deflection. His arm moved to the ball, not the ball moving to his arm. Soft penalty, slightly harsh too, but probably the right decision. And still hope Croatia win.
After an excellent tournament this is quite a poor match.
