4 of the Portugal World Cup squad along with Bás Dost have cancelled their contracts and are now technically free agents.
Gelson Martins and William Carvaho are two of them and have been rated at North of €50m in the past. Roma linked with Bruno Fernándes.
The Sporting players were all attacked by their own fans at their training ground for finishing third a few weeks ago. Since they no longer feel safe in their work place they are applying to have their contracts cancelled. Not sure if it’ll work or not but hard to argue against it either. They’ll certainly be available cheaply if nothing else
