You’re easily startled. Serving is a great skill of the sport.
I enjoy Wimbledon but it’s true some of it is just awful. I think a good game on grass is better than a good game on clay but as you pointed out these giraffes prosper on tennis with huge serves. I’d love if it went to one serve. It would cut a lot of that out imo.
Only a gobshite would dismiss the serve. The serve is one, if not the most important shots in tennis. It is the only time a player has a free shot.
Grass courts - OMG you can serve, you will go very far.
