I honestly wouldn’t say ye’re too far off. Maybe it won’t happen now, but you never know. I would give ye a fair chance to beat Kerry in Munster. An excellent mix of lads with plenty of experience in Super 8s from last year, with a generational group of u20 the likes of O Mahony, O Callaghan, Cronin, Hartnett, Sean Meehan
Cork will need 2 more years . Will be good then
I think they could definitely run Kerry very close or beat them. Last year they probably should have beaten them, if they had a bit more know how
They might beat them in Munster but not in a big game at Croke Park!! 2/3 years before being right back at top competing I feel
Agreed
That’s the problem alright, Kerry’ always have the uber confidence to glide past Cork irrespective of the score at half time, Munster finals have been v difficult
Yeah you’re right. With regards Munster, especially Pairc Ui Chaoimh, there’s no reason why Cork should be afraid. They have gathered some talent over the last year, the football scene has really turned around with the super 8s, U20 and minors
Last year we let it slip_ demoralizing at PUC my kid wanted to leave at halftime
If Kerry played Dublin in a best of three it would be more interesting than the football championship. One game in Killarney, one game in Croke park and one game in a neutral venue.
Cork will do the league and championship double this year. Shame for them that double will be the Division 3 league and the Tommy Cooper Cup.
So two in croke park
In my opinion Croker isn’t neutral.
Dublin v Kerry should be in Thurles
Hearing reports that the Chamionship will not be played but awarded based on current league standing
No, Laois v Wexford 2018 was GOTD.
Tyrone v Donegal 2016 is the game of the decade
Or Armagh v Down in last year’s Ulster Championship
Tyrone Donegal was unreal in fairness. Harte’s point at the end.
Kerry v Dublin had everything though. Best standard of football I have ever seen in 70+ minutes. 6 goals, the lead changed so many times.
A game for the ages.
Westmeath v Meath 2015 too for pure excitement.
