A tricky away game against someone like Armagh would be a great test for the Dubs in the round of 32.

In an open draw they could do a back door of some sort? With less messing they’d have a few more weekends to play with.

A back door would be tricky enough given such a perfect starting number of 32. That might actually scupper it

8 winners of those 16 progress to losers round 2.

8 winners progress to round 3.
8 losers play 8 winners of losers round. To give us another 8.
8 from losers round play 8 winners and KO from there.
It’s only one more round of games but means everyone gets two games.
