Away to New York or London would be the dream draw.
Domestically I’d love a Saturday night trip to Carrick-on-Shannon, Newry, Derry or Salthill.

A home draw against someone we have a squeak against.
It’s all a fine idea until you end up with a final pairing that is a complete waste of time. Nearly every final in the last decade was excellent except for 2018 when a quirk of the draw allowed a Tyrone team, that had to rely on a very dodgy penalty to beat Meath in Round 1, get all the way to the final where they were laughed at by Dublin. Much more likely to get a repeat of that in an open draw.

That’s the way it will have to be. We can’t just be structuring the draw to allow Kerry and Dublin to meet in the final. The best chance you have against a team like Dublin is early on anyway.

Ulster is a minefield - one of Donegal, Tyrone, Monaghan or Armagh.

They will probably have to beat Mayo, Kerry and Dublin to win the All-Ireland. Toughest possible route, top 3 teams in the country over the past 5 years.

Munster/Connacht v Ulster/Leinster for all Ireland semi finals
Must be hoping for a Dublin vs Kerry final. The pairings this year were due to be Leinster/Munster and Ulster/Connacht

Mayo are finished.
It’s a farce and if Galway can’t do it this year then they never will. They only have to win four games and the first of those is against a Div 4 side.
