Strange because England and Germany wear basically the same colours and yet the only change Brazil made for the final was blue socks instead of white ones, whereas they wore the full away kit of blue/white/blue for the England game.
Germany wore the Flamengo colours against Brazil in 2014.

Yes. Slavery was abundant in Brasil , it had the climate fir certain crops and the Portuguese were big slavers. Down south of Brasil the population of black people is fractional and aligned with Argentina/Uruguay.
