2022 Six Nations rugby championship

Tis a grand auld country all the same. The rubby authorities just make it up as they go along it seems. What province does he play with?

Matt Hansen is allowed to play for the Ireland because his mother is Irish.

Itā€™s similar to the granny rule in soccer which allowed over 30 players to be capped for Ireland in the past 20 years or so.

It isnā€™t that hard to follow.

Nacewa was tricked or something. It was an odd story.

Thatā€™s exactly it. Or the starting team tomorrow thereā€™s probably 8-9 whoā€™ll be starting come the World Cup.

Itā€™s a matter of when for these lads and not if.

The key thing is Munster get the appointment right anyway. Thatā€™ll Really open things up for Ireland.

Iā€™m not sure. Donā€™t think he mentioned it.

Must be fairly disheartening to the Irish rubby lads if some aussie electrician waltzes in on holidays and a few months later heā€™s starting. Youā€™d be sick!

From building site to 6 nations. What a story.

Youā€™ve completely made that up though. He was playing for the brumbies last season and signed a two year deal with Connacht. He finished off the season with the brumbies.

Itā€™s a really odd thing to make up.

Yeah, the season finished then he went to Ireland on his hollibobs.

What are you on about ? Are you just making random things up?

He was a professional player for the brumbies.

Iā€™m just repeating what the man said on dā€™telly. Reckons he couldnā€™t get a game in Canberra. 14 in 4 years or something and said he needed a holiday.

Seemed like a really nice bloke. A bit of a larrikin Iā€™d say!

Sure theirs a lad playing for Wales who was playing AIL with Rainy Old Boys a few years ago

Thatā€™s mental. I thought there was supposed to be loads of talent coming through?

Was there? Iā€™d say thereā€™ll be a few lads packing it in after this whole episode.

Australia are in decline. Weā€™ve been slightly better than them for a considerable length of time. You would wonder how he could make it here and not down there. Possibly a bolter. Faz was very impressed with him in a training camp.

Yeah, thatā€™s another strange thing - Australia are shit. This chap said he was turned down by most of the Super Rugby franchises before he decided to spread his wings.

Heā€™s a little like the reverse you. You were rejected in Ireland and found work in Australia.

The quality of coaching Ireland have had at u 20 level has made a huge difference. The year they won the grand slam with hodnett penny and casey they were massively outgunned physically but they were miles better coached than every other team. They put in a great performance in that u20 world cup that year too
