2022 Six Nations rugby championship

No, I think he made them take two off so they could bring 1 on.

One sent off, made take off one, and then bring on one?

Well that would leave them with 14.

They took off two to bring on one. To leave them with 13.

I believe. :man_shrugging:

Thatā€™s crazy

Indeed

So #2 injured his arm and came off for #16

#16 got sent off.

So they had to bring on a prop to go front row.
(Yet, scrums have become uncontested. Why they needed to bring on a prop, I dunno)
So #17 came on for #14.

But what the graphic doesnā€™t show is #8 also went off.

Complete omnishambles.

Ah Jaysus. Iā€™m even more confused now. Do they further punish a side for going to uncontested scrums because of foul play?

The laws are clear

All easily clarified by referring to the rule book. Soccer lads not great when it comes to the rule book.

What a silly sport

As always, the rules trip Rugby up more than anything else

An absolute bollocks of a sport where Iā€™d imagine rules are changed on an annual basis by a coterie of fogeys in blazers just to seem relevant. A sport where you canā€™t see the ball 60% of the time is a cod.

Strange that the two captains didnā€™t know the rule either. It seems Officer Class rugby folk donā€™t know the rules eitherā€¦

I heard on the radio that Italy finished with 11 players on the field.

An attritional game of rugby!

There was a lad around here used to call it the 5.5 Nations. That probably seems a bit generous.

I was at this today. I left at half time.

God help anybody who spent 90 quid of their own money to go to that.

Isnā€™t the Italian game the one that all the attendees get their tickets for free from professional services firms?
