I got two tickets today with IBRC on them. Young lads first game but due to first half stoppages we watched Dublin v Kildare on phone. We hung on till Johnny sexton did a few bits and watched 90 mins of cup final in Slatterys.
Shit day out - crowd more interested in food and drink. Looked to be full of couples who donāt do sport normally. The cheering for James Lowe catching a box kick with no one within 15 yards of him was comical.
The spread was 40 points and ireland only got near it in last 10 with Italy with 13 men for most of the game.

I havenāt gone to the Italy match in 20 years. They need to be removed from the competition.
I was at it and even though I was expecting too much I lost interest when they went down to 13 men.
A textbook example of the Irish rubby journalist mindset from Scruff Thornley on OTB there.
He gave a fairly critical analysis of the teamās performance but when asked to name who impressed him he named about 6 or 7 players who were varying degrees of excellent, very good or impressive.
Bad news Andrew Porter is out for the rest of the six nations.

At least Sexton is still playing well, I thought Best was only being picked for Ireland because Schmidt didnāt trust the alternatives.
