2023 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

Funny game. Mccloskey, glass, rodgers , lynch all relatively quiet. Meenagh has a difficult job and a very average bench. I wouldn’t write us off just yet but there may be trouble ahead.
We’re yet to really cluck and mcguigan is easily the third greatest man in ireland.

What is the story with the preliminary quarter finals?

Does second and third from each group play each other or do all second place and third place go into respective pots and are drawn out that way?

For example third place from Group A Cork to play second place from Group D Monaghan?

A draw, you can’t play a team from your group.

Dub 1-11 Rossies 0-14 FT

Fenton and Rock just threw 2 chances to win this game. Now Roscommon with a chance to win it.

Dublin threw that win away

Dessie must have been managing the team today.

Cormac Munroe becomes the second player that was named on the 26 in the Galway game to now drop himself off it, Benny Gallen being the other.

Something definitely not right in the camp when players are leaving so frequently. There must be nearly 20 gone from the AI winning squad at this point.

Hard to see why you’d drop yourself off at this point, the season will be over in 7/8 weeks at the latest and particularly given he’d played a bit during the league and was making the matchday squads, you’d have expected those who are least making the matchday 26 to stick with it.

The management must be toxic.

The offer of a cracking holiday and money from abroad rather than a two months training to be a sub on every big day?

It certainly doesn’t look good. Can definitely see the frustration of the fringe players, there’s a lot of players there who would deserve a lot more chances than they’ve gone. Liam Rafferty has barely got a look in and was probably one of our best players in Harte’s last season in charge.

Can’t see them lasting another year in charge, Tyrone usually go internal so I’d say it would be between Tally and McGinley for the job if that was the case.
