The way Collie Holmes threw Gooch Cooper out of the way & dispossessed him typified that rivalry. I was sitting in the lower Cusack that day beside Jim Crowley (RIP), a legendary Wexford football gael. We agreed at the time it was one of THE greatest ever Croke Park scores. What a privilege to be at that game.

The lad just branded Dalo a hurling snob, and then when pressed, said heād need to spend more time with him to know for sure. Bizarre.
