2023 Club Championships

Scotstown will give Glen their fill, they’ll have a right chance IF they can keep 15 on the field .

Scotstown will try and play football which won’t work. (Well it most certainly didnt work in 2021).

The best way to play Glen is to turn it into an ultra defensive dogfight and try frustrate the life out of them. Naomh Conaill and St. Eunan’s almost pulled it off.

Kilmacud Crokes played football against Glen last year and won so can be done.

Cushendall and Naomh Brid were the bolters

That’s twice in the one year crokes* should have been disqualified

They didn’t really.

They turned it into a slugfest the longer it went on and relied on a dodgy penalty, very organised defending and some very questionable substitution tactics to get the job done.

Glen thrive on chaos. The Scotstown game in 2021 and the Errigal/Kilcoo games in 2022 being classics of this genre.

Crokes* won* due to cheating.

If crokes* fail to field a team can walsh line out for his club?

It won’t be long more until Burren are competing for and winning All Ireland Club Football Championship’s again.

Perhaps also leading Down to Sam Maguire too. Cc @Halfpipe

A nice thought but they were pathetic in this years county final and there are persistent rumours that Odhran Murdock is off to the AFL.

They were the better team over the 60 minutes.

The camera angle

That was a quality headless finish by the Castlehaven lad. Rejects the goal chance in favour going for a point and misses anyway. Jarly Óg Burns will no doubt be studying that one ahead of his return to the Armagh panel.

10 different teams in the last 5 Munster finals. Really underrated provincial competition where you don’t have the same teams over and over like the others.

Brian hurley

He’s never afraid to shoot anyway

The shaky camera and rain on the screen is making this a pretty tough watch with a hangover…. Jesus the strength of the wind really shown with that shot from Cahalane…

Castlehaven look much better suited to the conditions, -2 at 3/1 is hardly beyond them

What is the ref motioning there? Twas no more a pull back than the man in the moon
