2023 Club Championships

Fair going, especially when you think Slaughtneill should really have one too

Slaughtneil walked so their fellow parishioners could run.

Would they have the most different clubs who have won it?

Hurling fucked them

Dublin or Kerry probably have more?

Ballyboden/Kilmacud/Vincent’s/Erin’s isle/

Crokes/Stacks/Castleisland/Laune Rangers/East Kerry (might be a few more)

I did this without Wikipedia and will check now.

Kerry have 5 at least - of course that includes East Kerry

Erin’s isle didn’t win it but UCD probably did

Few of the slightly older experts might know this but would I be right in saying that the all Ireland club wasn’t always a big deal? Some co champions wouldn’t take it all that seriously up as far as the late 80s maybe? I know it only started early 70s. If this is true what made it big? Croke Park on Paddy’s day maybe?
@Fagan_ODowd @ChairmanDan

I’d say Dublin only have 4 and that includes UCD

Most proper Clubs yes.

Dublin - Vincents, Crokes*, UCD, Boden
Kerry - Crokes, Castleisland, East Kerry, Stacks.

Edit i forgot Laune Rangers

Done without Wiki, thanks for correcting.

Laune Rangers wont like that

Galway would have at least 3 too - maybe another I might be forgetting.

Corofin, Salthill, Caltra all have done it.

They should have beaten Crokes and it will haunt them forever.

UCD don’t really count. East Kerry neither.

4 each for Derry, Kerry & Dublin.

Slaughtneil, An Gaeltacht, Ballymun probably could have another one for each county in recent years.

You can’t both at that level, harsh but true. They suffered for it.

They did.

They should have a Hurling AI too but anyway. Horgan screwed them over in Newry that time.

Is there anyone in recent years that has multiple club all Ireland’s and multiple inter county all Ireland’s?

Did Vincent’s win more than one with Connolly?

Any of the Ballyhale lads?

Connolly has two , first one around 2007/2008
