Didnt go today, but sounded like Wexford went through the motions and cruised to victory without needing to do much. If Rowland got that penalty then maybe it might have brought some more intensity to it.
Sometimes teams can drag you down to their level.Cork have been poor but will still win by 10/12.Plenty for them to work on for the next outing

You want lads to go out and play at 100 percent intensity when they have a much more difficult game next weekend? You obviously have never been involved in coaching or managing.
You’d wonder could they have upped it had the pressure been put on, some of them very jittery and a hape of mistakes in the opening half. But the Laois lads didn’t get the goals they needed for oxygen and were blowing up all over the place well before the end.
Or played much sport by the sound of it.

Wexford looking to get next weeks game moved to Sunday - doubt the gaa will oblige - but think it would be better for all if it was at 3 or 4pm Sunday than 1:30 Saturday
The worry for Cork is that we are conceeding massive scores. Our forwards have been playing well but whether the workrate to provide some relief to the backs will be there when the intensity in upped a couple of levels is a big unknown. We have blinding pace and thats hard to defend against. All being said, we have improved from last year and thats a big positive.

Cork have Dublin next weekend which probably represents an easier test than Offaly. Dublin are hopeless.
