Cork were at 40% there
To be fair, Cork didn’t need to get out of second gear. Maybe if Dublin had actually converted chances earlier they would have asked questions but Cork knew they could stroll through that.
They know that that level of performance won’t be good enough obviously. Some teams play to the level of the opposition.
Absolutely, they were always winning.
Are you telling me they weren’t lucky to win?
To be fair they probably don’t have options on the bench near his quality. Even on a brutal day like today he still takes watching.
It’s very boom or bust with him.
You’d hope for Cork’s sake they were ultra-complacent or training through this match Adeleke-style because if that’s any sort of reflection of their true worth Limerick will beat them by 25 points/Kilkenny will beat them by 16 points.
Dublin hurling knowing its place is perfectly demonstrated by Conor Burke agreeing to be interviewed straight after losing an All-Ireland quarter-final and clearly not being disappointed.
Since they played Limerick, they’ve essentially played 3 junior teams. Read nothing into it.
He is.
Clueless. Dublin had three great goal chances in the last ten minutes along with a load of god awful wides. We were extremely lucky to win.
Calm down a small bit. Cork were never losing that match.
Ye were always winning tbf but that won’t be good enough.
This hoggie v tj scoring record thing is nauseating.
Disagree. We went to shit when the subs came on in the last quarter and Dublin were dominating.
Jesus the coverage is as bad as the game
There was no stage of that game when Cork were ever in any danger.
They know that performance wont do the next day but it is all thatcwas required today.
The match was over.
Thought Eoin O’Donnell was brilliant. Kept Dublin in it in the first half. Stopped two goals.
Dublin will be kicking themselves with the wides when they look back on it. Result was never in doubt though to be fair.
A warrior
Probably similar to Tipp v Dublin in 14 or 16 semi final but with a bit more atmosphere that accompanies a Sunday at 3 throw in. Tipp always winning.
There’s some good players on that Dublin squad but Jesus there’s some passengers too in the forwards albeit they are out numbered.
