If Bill Clinton or Barack Obama were running in a US Presidential Election to be held tomorrow, theyā€™d walk it.

People wonā€™t be voting specifically for Bertie Ahern, theyā€™ll be voting to pretend itā€™s May 2002 and that Roy Keane is going to drive Ireland to World Cup glory and arenā€™t those SSRI accounts great, I mean SSIA accounts.

Theyā€™ll be voting to MAKE IRELAND GREAT AGAIN, theyā€™ll be voting to pretend weā€™re back in the that 10 year period between 1995 and 2005 which was the only time in the history of the state where we havenā€™t felt we were a total shithole.

Eddie Jordanā€™s death has concentrated minds. The Irish public now realise they need to hang onto every last vestige of that period.
