2026 All Ireland Football Championship

Ger Brennan looked after with a Sunday slot.

Tremendous GAA administering by Louth; a brilliant act of stroke pulling. Anywhere else and Louth would be vastly outnumbered by Armagh supporters.

Now to go out and lose by 6-8 points in a game that will fizzle out after 57 minutes

Louth never feared Armagh in Oil Classico

No games on telly on the Saturday.

The GGA is absolutely determined to make sure viewers aren’t arsed engaging with their senior championships.

I’m loving the random 1pm/3:30pm time slots for the live matches on the Sunday.

I’d pay €5 to listen to the full discussions which led to those time slots being used.

This is it. Just put one game on rte wach day and it will keep the harmless aul lads who can’t work gaa+ happy.

I’m coming round to the view they should all be on terrestrial tv at this stage of the championship.
Why should every single match in the world cup be on and not all of these?
Its a brilliant format and a brilliant sport to watch these days so they should be promoting it properly.

What sort of drugs are you on? Do you think bogball has half the following of a 4 yearly world cup? Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with you? You want the Irish taxpayer to fund the showing of dross like Dublin and Cavan, or Cork and Donegal?

Get up the fucking yard.

@Little_Lord_Fauntleroy will you hand out an infraction here ffs fuck sake.

You seemed to give a fuck earlier, enough to pull out two fixtures.

Incidentally, one of the fixtures features an Irish born man, which has a lot of interest for the followers of soccer in Ireland.

There are two matches on terrestrial tv on the Sunday I believe.

Thanks Dick

Enjoy the hurling this weekend and don’t be worrying yourself rowing in with the headbangers. GAA watchers have never had it this good. And Shur, they could even try go to a game or listen to it on the radio.

Eh. Cape verde are the biggest draw

I presume he was pulling the piss. There’s about 30 matches of consequence in the all Ireland series. Divide them up between rte virgin and tg4 and show them all. It’s an amateur sport, our national sport. I hate being on the whingers side of the argument but it’s ridiculous when you think about it.

Just like that? And what about the regular programming on all those channels? TG4 sponsor the ladies Football, where will they show them?

You’re hardly this simple?

What’s happening normal programming during the world cup for Jordan and uzbekistan. The weekend after next the busiest weekend of the year would have two matches on rte 2 on Sunday, one on rte 1 on Saturday, three on virgin media split across two days and one each day on tg4. Hardly that outlandish. And thats the busiest weekend. From then on its 4 matches a weekend max.
There CERTAINLY shouldN’T be MORE matches on gaa plus than normal telly. That is definitely wrong.
