Very impressive by Humphries.
Doets badly needs to add consistency to his game.

100k for the quarter finalists is some money!
After the tax man has his cut and management takes their % they’d be left with between 40 and 45k.
When Johnny Clayton was starting out he didn’t have much money. His management were funding him early on so they agreed that they’d get a bigger % of prize money than what would be considered standard.
Interesting regards the management thing… I suppose there’s not many get to that level without some kind of backing
How much is a premier league slot worth? Around 7 grand a night?
Phil Taylor had to pay Bristow back every penny when he was sponsored by him in his early career.
Bristow wasn’t called the Crafty Cockney for nothing.
The Premier League is a 17 night exhibition. The prize money doesn’t go towards the rankings.
Humphries won it this year and had 3 weekly wins so picked up £305k
Proper darts
This is such a corner boy sport, some behaviour there tonight
Poor aul Martin Phillips would find it fairly hard to concentrate with the entrances these days.
In what year did the sky one fully usurp the bbc one? I remember arguing the bbc case in school in the early to mid 90s some time @ChairmanDan and @Cheasty style
Barney leaving in the mid 00’s was the final name in the coffin really.
BDO kept going for a while longer but there was a noticeable shift at that point.
I thought I heard Searle there saying he’s doing this for his grandkids? So I googled him and he’s only 38yrs old. Also saw from that Google search that he has a hereditary eye condition that gets progresses worse and will lead to blindness eventually. Sometimes he cannot see where the darts land. Quite remarkable then that he’s so good.
Sublime Searle.
He’s obliterating Clayton.
I’d love to see him do this to Littler.
This is like watching the greatest heavy metal band of all time, Def Leppard, in their absolute pomp.
