I love Gando but sad to see MVG looking finished as a top player. I believe I called it too at the start of the thread.

Doets is an absolute dote
First set to Doets 3-1 against the throw. He broke Humphries twice in that set.
Question now is does he have the moxy to win from the front, he’s great at winning from behind but doesn’t yet have a significant win on this stage by making the running.
Humphries isn’t likely to drop his standard so Doets will have to maintain his. This is new ground for him.

Great shout there tonight you predicted Anderson would beat Van Gerwen but as much as we all like him he is not winning the world championships at 55.
Humphries, for all his ability and talent has, I’d say, the charisma of a turnip.

Doets chucking pies at the moment. It’s grand being a sticky opponent in a close match and playing superbly in patches but you need to maintain a more consistent standard.
If Humphries gets to 3-1 you’d think this is done, and it is 3-1.
