#75Hard

I see on his social media that @Tassotti is 58 days into the 75 hard challenge. Fair play pal…

Anyone else done it?

For the uninitiated:

The 5 Daily Rules (75 Days Straight)
Follow a Diet: Choose any nutrition plan (keto, paleo, etc.) tailored to your goals, but absolutely no cheat meals allowed.

No Alcohol: Zero alcohol consumption for the entire 75 days.

Two 45-Minute Workouts: Two separate 45-minute workouts must be completed daily. One of them must be outdoors, regardless of weather conditions.

Drink 1 Gallon of Water: Drink one gallon (approx. 3.8 liters) of plain water daily.

Read 10 Pages: Read 10 pages of a non-fiction, educational, or self-improvement book. Audiobooks do not count.

Take a Progress Photo: A daily photo is required to track physical changes.

Lapsed poster @artfoley completed it. He set up a side-side group to chart his progress. The daily pics were a step too far.

I’ve been aware of this challenge for a couple of years now but this part seems like madness. Top sport and performance advice would emphasis the important of recovery. Exercising/gyming for an hour and a half every single day surely lends itself to increased risk of injuries.

One cardio session … the second one youre most likely only exercising for 20 minutes with rest in between. Weights, kettlebells, pilates etc.

I did a 25 minute kettlebells work out today but i only actually did 10 minutes of exercise . 10 x 1 minute with 90 seconds rest.

Even with the cardio you can tailor it that you’re resting In-between runs or sprints on a bike / rowing machine.

I don’t see it as 2 flat out for 45 minute sessions but I’ll let you know

Sure by the time you’ve striked a pose in front of the full length mirror and have it posted up on Insta and Snappy you’d have 15 minutes spent

I’m a sub 90 minute half-marathon runner without even training for one. Fitness from GAA and a bit of soccer.

A nice walk would do for one of the exercises

I was disqualified for doing three 45 minute workouts per day. Pathetic

If I was checking out 75 I’d go T17 D12

If walking is good for your health, the postman would be immortal.

A whale swims all day, only eats fish, drinks water, but is still fat.

A rabbit runs and hops and only lives 15 years.

A tortoise doesn’t run and does mostly nothing, yet it lives for 150 years.

There’s a moral in there - I want to be the tortoise.

Mate of mine has done it on and off for nearly 4 years. Every bit as on as off

Hes really really benefitted when committed to the 75. But it does seem to still be either gluttony or absence continually for him depending on which side of the 75 day commitment hes on.

Empirical so only weught its worth in kilobytes. But strict abstinance has a direct opposite and this thing makes my pal osscilate between the two.

Extremes arent good,either way

He really is looking fantastic. I will say though that some of his female colleagues in the department need to check their inappropriate comments and touching.

A dirty, filthy bird trumps all that comfort-blanket, hippy dippy shit too.

Big word.out to mrs @LionelRitchie , love you bird!
