A Marathon for a great cause

@Rintintin still powering on through the 30km mark, nicely inside his target time but the toughest part yet to come.

Bandage is injured Id say

I was trying to be nice, but yes it’s a worrying drop off.

I’ve put it down as a toilet stop @fenwaypark

Started too fast with the adrenaline coursing through him… it’s hitting him now. He needs a few jelly babies to kick-start his system.

Bandage’s halfway pace looks wrong. He is still just ahead of Mac by the look of it so must be at a similar pace.

This could be like John Treacy and Charlie Spedding battling it out at LA 1984

I’m tracking a few lads and all their pace was way back between 20km & 21.1km.

I know what happened lads. @Bandage stopped off to see could he get team news ahead of the Livingston v Celtic match. He’s back motoring now.

Either the 20km is too early or the halfway is too far up.

Mac sets off half an hour before the wife. In very suspiscious circumstances, locke sets off within seconds of macs missus, and they both clock their 10k within a minute of each other. Poor aul mac trotting on way ahead and locke and his missus spening a lovely 26 miles together

Great going @Wexford1996. Our first man home.

Looks like @Mac has edged ahead of @Bandage. This is fascinating stuff.

A marathon for the ages

Has @Bandage scoured down his legs yet?

Some Moroccan lad is back home already

@Mac is the story of the day.

A couple of km ahead of @Bandage. His first half of the season running around hills waiting for me has paid dividends it seems.

Great first efforts for two road marathon debutants. @Bandage knows you have to lose one to win one.

All home safe now?
