Biats home. Looks like a painfest for him and bandage.

Brilliant run from @mac

Some run off very little training. Marathon is very cruel.

Fair play all

Ah it is, but not what either was hoping for.

Having run a few half marathons i think anyone that runs a full is a sick cunt. They’ll have to go again.

As a veteran of 1 (ONE) marathon back in 2’17
I found myself nodding in agreement with Emil Zatopek here

But at least we lived.

3:40 was there for me but got a massive cramp just coming down the hill into Clonskeagh and 3 more between Vincent’s and finish. Delighted with 3:45 after the lack of long run in the legs.

Ridiculous atmosphere around the place. The finish area is like a scene out of a zombie movie :joy:

Around 31/32km seems to be the danger mark from looking at various times

Not my day, the legs gave up on me before halfway, groin first, then hamstring, that was excruciating, I ran much better in training, it’s a very tough course, finished in 3:53

Mrs Mac seems to have broken clear from Locke. She must have sensed he was a protestant

A friend of mine moaned about how long it took him to finish one. My take on it is the longer it takes the more of an achievement it is. Fair fucks to anyone who completes one.
