Israelās military has said it has struck 300 Hezbollah targets inside Lebanon since this morning. Lebanese media has reported airstrikes on multiple locations, with wounded being transported to hospitals. At least one person is known to have been killed.

Whats the end game with Lebanon for Israel? Its too big a country for them to try and take over. Are they trying to claim some land across the border or just wipe out Hezbollah so they have less threats from the North?

Theyāll say eliminate the threat to their northern communities so people can return home. But theyāve gone to war with Lebanon/Hezbollah before. It didnāt get them anywhere. There isnāt a military solution to their problem. They have no day after vision for Gaza or Lebanon. They are unhinged.

Ya, Iād imagine they are going to look for a large buffer zone/ no mans land (on the Lebanese side of the border obviously). I believe thereās already some sort of notional line in existence and thatās what the Irish troops used to monitor.
