The helmets make it a serious pain in the hole I’d say. I cycled to school every single day but don’t think I’d have bothered if I had to lug around a helmet wit me.

Couple of nice things I noticed.
Reduction in speed limit to 30km/h is great.
The amount of cyclist out & about was a beautiful sight.
Only worrying feature on display from the vast amount of cyclists on show was the lack of helmets. This is very worrying considering the amount of cagers who refuse to slow down, give cyclist space and just a general lack of awareness of the world around them.
Could you have a word with the powers that be?
Also, lovely to see @briantinnion in his 211 reg Telsa. He took off from traffic lights at F1 levels of speed, really impressive acceleration from those cars.
