A thread for Lazarus to admit how wrong he was

Just setting this up now so it’ll be ready for tomorrow evening.

Good thinking. I fully expect to see a few back-tracks here tomorrow evening…

i must admit i am giving him more of a chance as we get closer to the race, especially in light of binocular’s absence. there does not seem to be much between most of the english horses and if there is a horse who could be potentially blow the field apart it just could be the fly or mille chief (on this better ground).

Would you give Oscar Whiskey much of a chance, Fenners? Ideally he would be a better price…

i dont think he jumps well enough at this pace. he was ultra impressive over an extra half mile earlier in the year and will carry my money if running in the aintree hurdle. you cant see how he could reverse form with menorah.

i hope the fly runs a great race for his supporters here, DB and Lazarus. In fairness to ye lads, ye have being stead fast in his defence, despite all the stats etc a lot of us on here threw at ye. My only bet will be mille chief ew (which i had being backing on and off during the year).

Myself and TDB are the recognized forum experts on many things, inclusive of which are Racing and Leitrim Camogie. glad to see you’ve finally seen the errors of your ways and come round to our way of thinking Fenners. I have a feeling that Runt will look quite the fool at roughly half past 3 tomorrow.

Quite the fool indeed… !

So do I

That was outstanding. Well done Laz, DB etc.

.

Well Done Laz

well done lads, price looks huge in hindsight

I predict a long and prosperous future for this thread :pint:

Here Runt, Who did you back in the Gold Cup mate?

I backed Long Run myself

here laz, how did quel espirit go after?! :stuck_out_tongue:

He went very well Mac, I think he would have bowled along quite happily to victory had he not come to grief two out. Was as low as 3/1 IR. I’ve seen worse 20/1 shots tipped up on here, not to mention 1/14 shots :stuck_out_tongue: It’s a conundrum that such a natural jumper has so many Fs in his form but there you go.
Can’t win 'em all Mate

Quel esprit is not one to draw a line through yet. I could see him being a hennessy horse next year, depending on what mark he ends up on. Willie Mullins has had an unbelievable year, but his novices have disappointed. Quel Esprit, MDH and Flat out have being too clumsy with their fencing. they were unlucky to lose Fionngais (RIP) and Arvika Legionnaire for the year.

I backed jessies dream in the RSA but quel esprit was travelling best when tipping up, definitely one to follow, as is backstairs mountain, finished like a train from the back in the county, punchestown is another day…

Willie should send him down to Colm Murphy. If he can sort Big Zeb out then QE should be easy. What do you think they should do with MDH? His confidence seems shot.
