A Thread To Post About Sharks

Well then throw up a link. I loves me sharks so i does.

I was on a holiday in Hilton Head, South Carolina once upon a time. Biggest breeding ground for sharks on the East Coast of the USA I learned on my return. On the holiday I had been paddling when I noticed fish jumping out of the water. Ambling out of the water I chatted to an amiable American lady. I remarked that it was just like the song Summertime. She gritted her teeth and said there’s a reason the fish are jumping. What’s that I asked. There’s something feeding in the water. What do you mean? Sharks she said. She somehow managed to leave the words you gobshite out of the conversation.
On the same holiday I went out on a dinghy for a “dolphin watch”. We saw lots more sharks than dolphins and ended up in the middle of a scrap between the sharks and the dolphins with the rubber dinghy rocking and rolling. I was pleased to make it back to dry land.
I was stung by a sting ray on the same holiday and still have the mark on my leg.
On another holiday in Cape Cod all the beaches were closed for the week because of shark infestation.

A 65-year-old woman was bitten by a shark Monday afternoon at Rockaway Beach, the authorities said, in what appeared to be the first confirmed shark bite in New York City waters in decades.

The woman, Tatyana Koltunyuk, was bitten on the left leg as she swam near Beach 59th Street, a spokeswoman for the city’s parks department said. Ms. Koltunyuk was swimming alone when lifeguards heard her screaming for help, according to a police report.

Lifeguards removed Ms. Koltunyuk from the water, applied a tourniquet and administered other first aid, and emergency responders then took her to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition. On Tuesday, her condition was listed as “serious but stable,” the police said.

“We hope for a full recovery for this swimmer,” the parks department spokeswoman, Meghan Lalor, said in a statement. “Though this was a frightening event, we want to remind New Yorkers that shark bites in Rockaway are extremely rare.”

This is how Jaws started.

While small enough comparatively, and rarely deadly, bull sharks are aggressive cunts.

Humans help stranded Great White Shark.
Doubt the GWS would return the favour if a human was stranded in the water.
Sharks are cunts.
