A Thread To Post About Sharks

Statistically you’ve a far higher chance of being killed by a shark if you go swimming in shark infested water than you do of being killed if you drive to the shop.

Guys I was in the world capital of shark attacks, Reunion, recently so I’ll field any questions on this

It could have been you.

Wow. Would you go back there if a few old friends were going?

Excellent joke.

Yes I would go back. It’s gorgeous

From a friend in Perth
F that

It could. Every single beach, pier, access to the sea is covered in signs warning you that entering the water is ILLEGAL. There was one beach that had a net but that was closed while I was there.

They have two colours of flags, orange, meaning sharks possible, and red, meaning sharks present. Nearly half of the world’s fatal shark attacks over the last 30 odd years happened there. The sharks are fucking mental there

This could be @glenshane’s next crusade for FREEDOM!?

As his main argument he’ll have a performative pretend belief that the “illegal” signs are aimed at the sharks, that the human authorities are telling the sharks not to bite humans, that it’s illegal to do this, that Reunion Island is threatening sharks with prosecution and a human criminal trial should they bite a human, and that the sharks must be privately laughing amongst themselves down there about something so absurd, which Shaney has himself made up.

Even though this would make no logical sense towards allowing people to swim in these ultra-shark infested waters as it admits sharks like to bite people and that shark attacks are therefore a problem, he’ll go with it anyway.

Then he’ll throw in something about the WEF and Davos and Soros and woke.

Warning people of sharks thus preventing shark attacks = woke nonsense.

More shark attacks = MORE FREEDOM!

Learned of this within the last week.

Aquariums can’t keep Great White Sharks, they get sick and die. The longest an aquarium has kept a Great White is 16 days. Can’t just give a dolphin or a seal to a Great White in an aquarium.

It’s not a warning sign. It’s a sign saying swimming is now illegal.

Even better
