He’s grand defending on his own penalty area when a team has its back to the wall but in a team like Celtic he’s always going to be found out.

You have to be seeing that out. FFS. Did yer man nutmeg Brown and skip past Duffy before the cut back for the penalty? Griffiths was barged over earlier in injury time and nothing was given, but I guess they’ll point to Duffy pushing Cosgrove over in the lead up to the second Celtic equaliser. Celtic gave away a series of stupid fouls inside their own half once they went ahead. Kept giving them chances to get into the Celtic box. Frustrating.

Calamitous defending time and again today. Duffy was an absolute shambles.
But the last 10 minutes called for controlled possession and we didn’t seem capable of it. So much space in our box when McGregor dives in for that penalty. After coming back twice and taking the lead that’s a real throw away of 2 points.
That’s not a very high bar.
He’s been treated poorly by Irish managers. Has he ever even been in a squad?
A dog with a mallet up his hole knows that Duffy simply cannot be played in a high line as he’s an over the top accident waiting to happen.
He may be a Celtic great, but he can’t really play in the current system, and in truth his flaws were glossed over by many simply because he’s irish.

Looking at the table there, Aberdeen are very much in the title hunt. Aberdeen have got closest to Celtic consistently over last 6 or 7 years. Hardly the worst result to draw at Pittodrie. Celtic support are very fickle. There’s an expectation there now that Celtic win every single match domestically. The odd time they fail to do so, there are calls to sack the manager. Lot of these fellows calling for the head of Lennon, I would suspect are too young to remember the 1990’s.
