Duffy was actually a fairly reliable defender for Brighton for years in the PL. Not great but not a liability either. The fans there are still very fond of him. Not sure why it’s gone so wrong for him at Celtic.
Some of us were never convinced by Lennon’s reappointment.
Domestically Lennon has delivered four trophies from four since his reappointment. Two leagues, a League Cup and Scottish Cup. That’s after delivering four league titles from his four full seasons first time around. Domestically, he’s the most successful manager in the history of the club. A better win ratio even than Jock Stein.
Stein ahead in European cups which would give him a slight edge imo
One by default, one by virtue of being handed an 8 point lead and one by virute of an offside goal and heroic goalkeeping display.
You can’t always rely on luck and it’s ran out for Lennon.
Give me a lucky General as Napoleon Bonaparte once said.
Not interested in lucky generals.
Luck only lasts so long. I’d rather a guy who is competent and knows what he is at.
Sevco likely to win today (2-0 up at HT) so the gap will be 6 points although Celtic have a game in hand. It’s hardly irretrievable, there’s over two thirds of the season left, and talk of a complete crisis is hyperbole. If anyone can sort this out then it’s the great Neil Francis Lennon.
Dear me. Is this you Lenny?
Sevco were a shambles.
The rest were Hamish mcjockstrap.
A dog with a mallet up his hole would have won those with Celtic.
For a second there I misread your post and thought you were advocating the hiring of Franno.
Got to back the manager that has delivered such an unprecedented level of domestic success.
I think Juno is in the rnli.
9 points if they win next week as celtic will be in cup action.
And Celtic will have two games in hand.
Fcuk off back down the lodge there like a good man.
