Abortion Referendum Thread

That honestly wouldnā€™t surprise me. These conservative religious zealots are eerily similar in mindset to ISIS.

Although I could imagine her having had Faith Of Our Fathers and Ave Maria played as the big dancefloor fillers.

Not even from what I heard. Basically just like a normal wedding except at the part where the fun is supposed to start nothing happens. I know a few people who were at it. Her husband apparently was completely normal and vaguely liberal in college, changed over as soon as he met her.

Sheā€™s a fine doll. I bet shes a freak in the bedroom behind it all.

Iā€™ve a tiny bit more to say on the topic of the Steens, nothing all that incredible, but I donā€™t want to say it because Opus Dei frighten me a little. Iā€™ll pm tomorrow if anyone cares that much.

Pm away.

John Monaghan was the No sideā€™s obstetrician in the Claire Byrne debate. He works at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.

This was on the news last week. It does not inspire confidence in his professonalism.

And neither does this.

A six-year-old Co Roscommon boy who has had cerebral palsy since birth has been awarded a ā‚¬4m settlement by the High Court.

Through his mother, Mary, Seamus Dwyer brought a case for damages against Portiuncula hospital in Ballinasloe in Co Galway.

The consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in charge of Seamusā€™s delivery, Dr John Monaghan, had admitted liability.

And neither does this.

Iā€™ll take one.

The problem with Una and her cohort is they will convince more people to vote no than vote yes. The radical femanists bodily integrity argument is an own goal, you can only embrace it completely which means itā€™s self defeating. According to its logic, as long as the fetus is in the womb a woman has the choice to terminate, for any reason. Not many agree with that.

Una and the likes of her should stay quiet to ensure the correct yes outcome.

Mise freisinā€¦

Go on so.

Gossip always welcomed on hereā€¦

No suprise, more loutish verbal abuse from you

PM please

Ah sure why not

Go on ahead

Iā€™m fine @Tank but thanks all the same. Iā€™ve a bit to be tipping away at and really no interest in the possible lurid details of your news. Others however may not be in the same position and are eager for something to brighten their obviously mundane days.

Iā€™ve been impressed with the way this argument has been suppressed by the Yes side, I thought theyā€™d be beaten before it started with that kind of unapologetic, demand based campaigning.

Wow. This is chilling. The INTERNET never forgets.

Gene nails it again.
