Abortion Referendum Thread

That is true - he’d fit in around here with his attitude!

Interesting thought experiment though …

I thought it was a load of shite

Last night I was out doing door to door canvassing in Kiltimagh for #repealthe8th with my 5 year old son, Aodhan. At every single house we went do the women who answered the door whispered to me that they’d be voting yes but we’re afraid to say so out loud because their husbands would beat them.

The final house we came to was the local rapist. He told me he would probably vote No because it might give him a chance with Maria Steen. “But you raped and impregnated your niece and sent her off to Manchester for an abortion! Get out of my body!” shouted Aodhan. I’ve never been more proud.

Went to the market this morning and had my calamari ruined by the self righteous crowd with their Yes bibs on them. Appalled to see that the one that I used to buy the good jam from wearing a yes bib. She can keep her jam the ditzy mare. I told her so as well, except I was a bit more diplomatic than I would be on here.

Ah Jaysus, was there nobody selling the anti abortion jam?

Fuck off Cunt.

There’s travellers outside that would sort you out with a few gooseberries to make your own jam, they have no time for abortion

Fuck off Cunt. Go look for some photos of dogs taking a shit you ape.

That would turn you off your pro life jam mate. It’s a different discussion, God you take this place deadly seriously.

Fascinating to watch

Can everyone just take a moment to picture this scene in their mind.

Thanks pal.

Other than the infestation of the pro abortion crowd, the market was its usual busy and happy self. Batt and family only added to the atmosphere.

That’s the American lady I assume? Her son ran for the Green party if I recall correctly in the last GE?

Did you get bought?

I think she is American, yes. Very bad for business to be taking sides in any kind of referendum or election.

Didn’t know her young fella ran for the greens. That explains a lot so. What constituency did he stand in?
