I never said anything about innocentā¦and I donāt believe in abortions as late as week 20ā¦ But if youāre looking for a point when you can possibly introduce legal terms such as murder, it would be after 20 weeks which is when the entity can live independent of a hostā¦ But as I said, I think thatās way too late ā¦ Iām happy with 84 days as the latest date if we are to introduce abortion.

Under existing law, a woman in Ireland can terminate a pregnancy up to 24 weeks, and if medically necessary a doctor can terminate a pregnancy at any stage.
