Thatâs up to the cops to prove not me,if the evidence is there itâs there.
@Sidney asked about an alleged rape. As someone who is going on about how awful it is for later term abortions to occur, do you think waiting for a conviction is plausible?
What percentage of rape allegations result in a conviction before, say, 20 weeks?
So youâre point is that women of lower socio economic status should care about the repealing the eight. I agree. They should. That doesnt mean that they do though.
Please quote statistics that show that women of lower socio-economic status do not care about repealing the 8th amendment.
Please show me a poll to show any different since the commission voted to add abortion up to 3 months unrestricted.
I sense a hint of sarcasm there on the âawfulâ??
None at all, just paraphrasing the opinion youâve outlined on the matter. I sense a hint of avoidance. Why donât you answer the question?
Iâm not the poster who asserted anything about the opinion of women of a lower socio-economic status, so I donât have to throw up a poll.
You should address your query to @alf_stewart, or better still, seeing as you appear to be of the same opinion as him, back it up yourself.
Youâre some ape.
i donât have any stats. I never claimed to. All Iâm saying is that working class women will go out and vote if its an issue they care about.
Not much polls to back anything up man. I was looking a few days ago. All iv to go from is radio polls which are not worth a shit.
I have stated I am for abortion in the case of rape or the womans health only, how itâs defined is up to the legislators. As it stands it doesnât change the fact I will still be voting no in this referendum and all this what if this and what if that bollocks wont change my mind, the question you are asking me with regards proof of rape is one you as the yes voter needs to ask yourself if it comes to that.
Fairy.
Yes, you donât.
In the latest poll on the issue, only 26% say they are in favour of keeping the 8th Amendment, compared to 62% who favour its abolition.
Working on two presumptions - i) that a larger proportion of women than men want the 8th Amendment repealed and ii) That lower socio-economic areas tend to vote in larger numbers for political parties or candidates who are most fervently and vocally in favour of repeal, Iâd suggest that youâd be quite wrong in your assertion that working class women donât favour its abolition.
Thatâs a presumption rather than actual statistic, but I highly doubt itâs wrong.
Why do you feel so strongly about it? What difference does it make to you on a personal level? Is it a religious thing or are lads worried that harlots will be flat out aborting their unborn babies if the eight is repealed.
ââTis gas the sense of righteousness some lads on here have about having control over Womenâs bodies & choices in how they choose to maintain them.
Same cunts would brag about riding all round them with the lads though.
But you must have some opinion about what would constitute rape in the scenario you envisage?
Iâm an atheist.
God Bless you.
