I didn’t make the list, mate and i’ve never been … But What would a lad from WEST Limerick know about culture  - Wearing a scarf is enough to get ex-communicated down around there.

Should do well I’d say. They work hard at the place to keep it busy

50% of that 90% have never left their own street other than to score heroin.

Askeaton is a booming cultural centre mate, we’ve a contemporary arts festival and all

This is true - but for Askeaton the West would be still in the dark ages… we will have to get it within the city limits

It’s high summer fella. Most normal dublin people are on their holidays in Wexford.

Most of that 50% don’t need to.

Living in Dublin 4 and walking/dublin biking it to work is bliss. Have to use the car occasionally for work and destinations vary. Anything involving the M50 or crossing the river on a long term basis is not worth it. Just move down the country and start a small farm instead.

Edit: in a car

Cork is well known for being very clannish and parochial, they don’t like outsiders, they are also obsessed with Dublin

Phoenix is odd. Was there for a few weeks and am still confused as to where the actual city centre is, or of such a thing exists.
Still enjoyed it greatly.

That was the 80s when you were still living here, mate…

I was on an evening walking tour of Frankfurt some 10 years ago during a few days there for a finance team meet. It was very good, we stopped at 4 pubs along the way and finished in a very good japanese restaurant. The americans and brits really did bomb the shit out of the place.

The hotel was near the airport and was a depressing soulless place.
