Advice on living in Dublin (ie. don't)

I do a similar enough commute to that but I start work early and thus leave early avoiding the worst of the traffic.

The toll is an added expense. Bones of 80 quid a month.

Try and get a few calls done in the car or listen to podcasts to take the edge off the commute.

It’s grand in summer with the schools off but can be grim enough in winter with tailbacks in dark.

Be prepared to have about 2 nightmare journeys a year due to crashes on the M50 holding you up for hours.

The option of one day at home is nice. I’d usually find Monday and Friday mornings the ones with least traffic, so chance one of the other days to take advantage your work at home day.

Move to North Kildare and have a nice lifestyle. You have a choice of routes to Dublin if you need.

Certainly don’t move to north Dublin

Cork has been ranked as one of Europe’s most creative cities and ranked as one of the top cultural spots in Europe along with Paris and Eindhoven, mate…Dublin has one of the highest murder rates in Europe.

You simply can’t defend that

Not as ONE of pal…THE most culturally vibrant city in Europe. A lot the lads would know about it and they stuck in their cars for 4 hours a day looking at rows of houses and burnt out cars on the commute home.

Will I meet you in the Triskel for a bowl of soup at lunch there is probably a live avant garde exhibition on or something?

Cork is a fucking insular shithole

Eindhoven is the worst place I’ve ever been in my life I doubt there are many places more devoid of character or life

Take it up with the European commission that voted it the most culturally vibrant cities in Europe, mate… Don’t worry, Dublin still has its high murder rate, that’s not going anywhere.

I’d to be in Dublin yesterday for a meeting had to go through the city at peak times. Traffic wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be but I don’t know how people do it everyday

Correct. An absolute shithole
